Who we are

ResellerGate operates resellergate.net, the reseller portal (portal.resellergate.net) and the services behind them. This policy explains what we collect from applicants and resellers, why, and how long we keep it.

What we collect when you apply

Your name, company name, email address, phone number, country, website, business type, sales channels, expected volume range, reseller experience, product categories of interest and any notes you add.

The time you gave consent to our Terms and this policy, whether you opted in to marketing email, the IP address your application came from, and any reply you send to our questions.

What we collect from resellers

Account details: the email address and a protected (hashed) password for each portal user, sign-in times and the IP address and browser of each session.

Verification (KYC): the name and company you submit, the document type, the document number (stored encrypted; only its last four characters are ever shown), the country, and copies of the documents you upload, such as an identity document or business registration. Our KYC Policy explains how these are protected and how long they are kept.

Orders, invoices and payment status, and any email addresses you enter for your own customers when you assign a product to them (we handle those on your behalf under our Data Processing Agreement).

Why we use it

To review applications, run your account, verify your business, process and support orders and payments, keep an audit record of decisions and access, and prevent fraud and abuse. We send marketing email only if you opted in.

Who can see it

Authorized ResellerGate staff, each limited to what their role needs. Access to KYC documents is restricted to compliance reviewers and every view is recorded.

Service providers that process data for us: Cloudflare (network security and delivery for our sites), our hosting provider, and our email delivery provider. Payment providers (PayPal, NOWPayments, CoinProcess) receive what they need to process a payment you start and handle it under their own privacy policies.

We do not sell personal data.

How long we keep it

Applications: while under review and for a limited period after a decision, to answer questions and prevent repeated abuse. Approved applications become part of the reseller account record.

KYC documents: as set out in our KYC Policy (for example, files of a rejected or replaced submission for 180 days, and files of an approved verification for 5 years after the account closes).

Order, invoice and audit records: as long as needed for accounting, tax and dispute purposes.

Security

Traffic is encrypted in transit. Passwords are hashed, document numbers and other secrets are encrypted at rest, staff sign in with two-factor authentication, and sensitive actions are written to an audit log.

Cookies

resellergate.net sets no cookies. The reseller portal sets one strictly necessary session cookie, used only to keep you signed in. We use no advertising or tracking cookies.

Your choices

To access, correct or delete your information, or to object to its use, contact [email protected]. Some records (for example KYC and order records) must be kept for the periods above even after a deletion request.
